ABERDEEN ANGUS

We have now added to our stock once more purchasing four Pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle from Michael Collins winner of best large herd in the South West for the last four years.

We have two heifers and two steers the steers will be fattened for beef while the heifers when old enough will be bred from. All being well we will be able to offer our customers in 2010 Aberdeen Angus beef together with our Lamb and Pork.

BERKSHIRE BOAR

We have also used our Berkshire boar on our cross sows with great success producing a white pig with excellent flavoured meat.

He is producing well with an average litter size of around 10-12.

FARMERS MARKET

We have been attending the Helston Farmers Market held on the first Saturday of each month with great success building up a regular customer base and getting great feed back about our produce especially our sausages and hogs pudding. In addition to meat Julie has produced  home made preserves, pickled eggs, and products made from our meat such as sausage rolls, scotch eggs and pate's.
